Characteristics of the workshop

The workshop is intended primarily for photographers and tourists interested in landscape photography.cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58dDue to the nature of the landscape, this course is intended primarily for photography with wider focal points, although a telephoto lens can also be used for photographing landscape details.You can be a complete beginner who wants to see more about the possibilities of your camera, or you can be an advanced photographer who would like to understand compositional methods or working with light even more deeply. The course is intended for both groups of photographers. Along with that, together we will learn to use auxiliary equipment more effectively when photographing in the field (tripod, tripod tips, cable trigger, filters), we will explain how important planning is and something I call "systematic" photography. Over a beer and a meal, we will later talk more about basic but also advanced photo editing (HDR, time blending, focus stacking, etc.). In this workshop, your relationship with the mountains is also important. We will spend it all in Roháče and we will not avoid a hike. 

Advantages of the workshop

• For me, Roháče is one of the most beautiful parts of the Tatras

• at a relatively short distance from the base camp of the workshop, we can find a number of photographically attractive places with little difficulty - Roháčske plesá, Ťatliakovo lake, Roháčsky waterfall

• if there is will, taste and conditions, we can also embark on something a little more demanding, e.g. Roe deer

• good mood and willingness to explain and thereby pass on as much knowledge and experience as possible

• pleasant accommodation, where we always spend a relaxing evening taking photos

Program 

• 1 day - we will meet in the afternoon between 13:00 - 14:00 at the parking lot under the cable car in the Zverovka - Spálená resort. _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b5cf58d  After a short introduction and basic information, we will set off towards Ťatliak's cottage, where we will be staying. longer exposure.  Subsequently transfer to the cottage, where after accommodation we will go to photograph the sunset (Ťatliakovo lake or Roháčske plesá). After returning to the cottage, we will explain the rest of the workshop program and discuss the places we would like to visit. We will go through their photos together and make a precise plan. We will check the weather possibilities and explain the basic theory for photographing this type of landscape, so that you are sufficiently prepared for the next photo shoot :)

• 2nd day- early in the morning we will go for the morning photography of the first light. Weather permitting, we will take photos until late morning. After the lunch break, we will go to at sunset.   After that, only return and transfer to the accommodation, where we will review everything from the previous day and we will look at some photos together. 

• 3rd day- in the morning we will get up early again and go to the sunrise and catch the first light. After the photo shoot, return to the guesthouse and around 10:00 the end of the workshop and the journey home.
