Autumn tatras photo Tour 

magical autumn in the scenically attractive region of Slovakia  and Poland
Zamagurie is full of picturesque corners with views of the Belianske Tatras. Autumn in Zamaguri is magical and full of contrasts. Frequent inversions in Pieniny, snow-covered Bilianky, frost in the valley around Osturna or beautiful colorful trees in Lapszanka. We will not miss the iconic Štrbské pleso, whose views of the northern walls of the Tatras peaks from Poland. In addition, I'm almost at home in this region, so we won't miss any of the top places, but we'll definitely show lesser-known locations as well
Each participant will receive the materials from the workshop in PDF, so that they can return to them at any time. All modification procedures are available in the form of video instructions, so it will definitely not happen that you forget the procedures by the time you get home :)

Characteristics of the workshop

The workshop is intended primarily for photographers and tourists interested in landscape photography. You can be a complete beginner who wants to see more about the possibilities of your camera, or you can be an advanced photographer who would like to understand the methods of creating a composition or working with light even more deeply. The course is designed for both groups of photographers. Along with that, together we will learn how to use auxiliary equipment more effectively when photographing in the field (tripod, tripod tips, cable trigger, filters), we will explain the importance of planning and something I call systematic photography. Over a beer and a meal, we will talk more about basic but also advanced photo editing (HDR, time blending, focus stacking, etc.).

Advantages of the workshop

  • the Zamaguria region is one of the most landscape-attractive areas in Slovakia
  • spring here is full of contrasts and colors. If the conditions are good, there is still snow on the mountains and everything is already beautiful green in the foothills
  • we will go through the most beautiful locations that have already become a term among landscapers - Osturňa, Lapszanka, Lesnícke sedlo
  • good mood and willingness to explain and thereby pass on as much knowledge and experience as possible
  • pleasant accommodation, where we always spend a relaxing evening taking photos

Note:
The program is not fixed and depends on the given situation, especially on the weather conditions and so that everyone has the opportunity and time to learn as much as possible on the spot and at the same time take good photos with them. During the entire photo shoot in the field, there will be a joint discussion on various practical topics related to landscape photography.

Necessary photo equipment

  • ideally a digital SLR or mirrorless camera
  • basic wide-angle lens and telephoto lens (ideally with a focal length of approx. 70-200mm for full frame or 50-150 for cameras without a full frame sensor)
  • fixed tripod
  • filters (polarizing, transition, gray) - they are not a necessity but definitely an advantage
  • spare camera battery and memory cards :)

Accommodation during the workshop

  • we will be staying in two beautiful cottages in Poland with a view that we can take pictures of
  • accommodation is without meals
  • a sauna is available in both cottages
