One of the most beautiful mountains in the world in full bloom
The Dolomites probably do not need to be specially rebuilt. It is a beautiful mountain range ideal for mountain photography. High saddles, accessible by car, beautiful lakes, blooming meadows. The Dolomites offer all this in summer. Iconic places such as Passo Gardena, Passo Giau, Lago di Limedes, the Cinque Torri rock towers, the epic Tre Cime or the beautiful Alpe di Siusi plain. This is only a fraction of what the Dolomites offer the photographer.

Characteristics of the workshop

The workshop is intended primarily for photographers interested in mountain photography. Due to the nature of the landscape, this course is intended primarily for photography at wider focal lengths, but a telephoto lens will definitely find its place.
You can be a complete beginner who wants to see more about the possibilities of your camera, or you can be an advanced photographer who would like to understand the methods of creating a composition or working with light even more deeply. The course is intended for both groups of photographers. Along with that, together we will learn how to use auxiliary equipment more effectively when photographing in the field (tripod, tripod tips, cable trigger, filters), we will explain how important planning is and what I call "systematic" photography. Over a beer and good food, we will later talk more about basic but also advanced photo editing (RAW editing, exposure blending, time blending, focus stacking, etc.).

Note:
The program is not fixed and depends on the given situation, especially on the weather conditions and so that everyone has the opportunity and time to learn as much as possible on the spot and at the same time take good photos with them. During the entire photo shoot in the field, there will be a joint discussion on various practical topics related to landscape photography.

Necessary photo equipment

  • ideally a digital SLR or mirrorless camera
  • wide angle lens, prime lens and telephoto lens
  • fixed tripod
  • filters (polarizing - necessary, ND filter - not necessary)
  • spare camera battery, memory cards

Accommodation during the workshop

  • we will be staying right in the heart of the Dolomites
  • single bed rooms

Payment for the workshop
  • 50% of fee within 2 weeks of sending the application
  • cancellation of participation in the WS with the right to a refund of the fee is possible no later than 2 months before the WS date
  • the remaining amount is paid one month before the WS
